Buttons

You have selected a hand-painted original Encaustic Painting.  Buttons is an encaustic painting with multiple layers of encaustic wax building up the surface. The encaustic wax surface is carved out, then wax paint medium is poured in the void to form buttons.  This work has a piece of textured paper embedded in the surface of the wax.
