Fallen is based on the Artists’ actual experience of falling down damaged parking garage stairs and as a result having a serious injury that took over a year of physical therapy and several surgeries to repair.
On a lighter note, the piece was created by the artist after she had recovered so the piece tells a lighter tail of the experience rather than a devastating one. Fallen is created with gold reflective Ink on a light blue matt background which has been enhanced with India Ink.
